Snowtober

For the first time since the 1970's, the DC area got snow in October -- October 29th to be exact.  Frederick, MD only got about 1" but Chambersburg got about 4-5" and New England got whalloped with as much as 24" of heavy, wet snow.  Since the trees haven't lost their leaves yet, the heavy snow toppled trees and brought down power lines resulting in millions of people on the East Coast being left in the dark. 

Alaina didn't miss a beat and wanted to go outside to play in the snow first thing on Saturday morning:
